Hippoglow ("we", "our", or "us") operates the ASCENT mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.

Information We Collect

ASCENT is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data necessary to operate the app and display advertisements:

• Device Identifiers: We collect advertising identifiers (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android) to serve relevant advertisements. You can opt out of personalized ads through your device settings or when prompted by the app.
• Analytics Data: We collect anonymous usage data such as game sessions, scores reached, and app interactions to improve the game experience. This data is not linked to your identity.
• Crash Reports: We collect diagnostic data when the app crashes to help us fix bugs and improve stability.

What We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect your name, email, or contact information
• We do not collect your location data
• We do not collect payment information (the app is free)
• We do not have user accounts or passwords

Third-Party Services

Our app uses the following third-party services that may collect information:

• Google AdMob: Displays advertisements in the app. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve ads. Google Privacy Policy

• Firebase Crashlytics: Collects crash reports to help us improve app stability.

Advertising

ASCENT displays advertisements through Google AdMob. On iOS, you will be asked whether you allow tracking for personalized ads (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized to you.

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we request consent before showing personalized advertisements in compliance with GDPR.

Children's Privacy

ASCENT is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The game contains no user-generated content, social features, or in-app purchases.

Data Retention

Analytics data is retained for up to 14 months. Crash reports are retained for 90 days. We do not store any personally identifiable information on our servers.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

• GDPR (EU users): Right to access, rectify, erase, or port your data. Right to object to processing.
• CCPA (California users): Right to know what data is collected, right to delete, right to opt-out of sale (we do not sell data).
